The City of Lynchburg’s Office of Economic Development and Tourism invites the public to review proposed amendments to the City’s Enterprise Zones.
Public Hearing Notice
The Lynchburg City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as may be heard) in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 900 Church Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504.
At this hearing, Council will consider a resolution to support and endorse an amendment to Enterprise Zones #2 and #46, as designated by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development. The proposed amendment would add and remove certain properties from the existing zones in order to expand economic development opportunities within the City.
All properties proposed for addition or removal are shown on the maps linked below, dated October 11, 2025:
The properties being removed are owned by the City of Lynchburg or the Economic Development Authority of the City of Lynchburg and will not negatively impact any businesses located within the areas marked for deletion.
