Starting a business is exciting, but it can be overwhelming. Between refining an idea, identifying customers, and learning the ins and outs of running a company, many entrepreneurs need more than passion to succeed. That’s where CO.STARTERS Lynchburg comes in — to provide true startup support to businesses in Lynchburg, Virginia.
What is CO.STARTERS?
CO.STARTERS is a nationally recognized program designed to help entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable businesses. Born out of the belief that small businesses are the heartbeat of thriving communities, the program began in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and has since spread across the country, including right here in LYH.
The model was designed to be simple and accessible, but impactful. Instead of sitting in traditional lectures, participants work through a collaborative, 10-week program that helps them test ideas, identify customers, and build sustainable business models. Each week, potential founders learn by doing, guided by and informed by input from peers who are facing the same challenges.

Who is Eligible?
The program is open to anyone with a business idea or a young startup — you just need to be located in our city or a surrounding county.
Don’t have a fully fleshed out business plan? That’s okay! You don’t need one yet.
CO.STARTERS is designed for early-stage entrepreneurs who may only have a rough concept and a lot of determination. Whether you dream of opening a retail shop or launching a tech startup, CO.STARTERS can help you transform your fledgling idea into a thriving business.
