Lynchburg, VA – Hundreds headed to downtown Lynchburg to take a step back in time on Saturday. They came for Point of Honor’s 15th annual “Day at the Point.”
About 1,000 people stopped by to see some re-enactors and old-fashioned cooking. The event also featured live musical performances of pieces from the 1800s.
“They’re bringing music of that time period to the Point of Honor, and we also like to work with the colleges and high schools since museums are educational institutions so we always try to partner up with our local schools,” said Doug Harvey, Lynchburg Museum System Director.
Musicians from Lynchburg College and E.C. Glass High School also participated in this year’s event.
