The Office of Economic Development and the Lynchburg Economic Development Authority cordially invite you to attend a breakfast to celebrate Business Appreciation Month in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The breakfast will be held on Tuesday, June 24th from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. on the Michel’s Plaza at Randolph College. (Campus Map)
This year in Virginia, Business Appreciation Month celebrates innovation and technology in Virginia’s economy. We invite you to hear from John Kenney, Vice President of TRAX International and President of TRAX, LLC. TRAX, LLC is a rapidly growing company in Lynchburg, providing a full range of specialized engineering support, analysis and modeling and simulation for commercial energy clients; and is a leading supplier of high fidelity power plant simulators for the energy industry worldwide. You will also learn more about the Economic Development Authority’s efforts to support STEM education and workforce development through new initiatives like this summer’s Tech Kids Coding Camp for rising 3rd through 8th graders and the partnership with Lynchburg City Schools to recruit math and science teachers to Lynchburg’s middle and high schools.
Please make plans to join your business colleagues and enjoy breakfast and our dynamic speakers as we thank you for doing business in the City of Opportunity!
